Picking Eggs

The BIG day is here. It is the long weekend and I get to spend my long weekend in Missisauga with an IV and lots of poking and prodding. But that is okay because we are finally in this. I feel like the past 3 years we have been doing different things just to get here. IVF!

So I was not allowed to drink or eat anything prior to the procedure. When I got to the fertility centre the nurse was so friendly and ensured that I was relaxed. She gave me one more valium to ensure that I was at ease and put in my IV.

Matt was so cute. He got to dress up too and come in the room to hold my hand during the egg retrieval.
