Brrrr it's cold!

Well freezing day is here. The fertility centre called the day after my retrieval letting us know that they were able to retrieve 20 embryos. From the 20 embryos 16 were mature enought to fertilize. The following day they called again and said that 14 out of the 16 took to fertilize and are duplicating which is AWESOME! So today is the day I got the call with the total number of day 5 blastocysts that they will be freezing. The final tally is 10!!!!! We have 10 day 5 blastocysts.

The doctor encouraged us to freeze them all and not do a fresh transfer as I had so many and thye were very aggressive to get them all. This will allow me to recover and create a healthy environment for these blastocysts to go.

So no more meds, no more injections but some down time to cleanse. That means probably no more news till we are all set for our transfer.
